Confidentiality Overview
PBPL understands & gives due care to the confidentiality of client management system information. All audits are conducted in full confidentiality of the company’s activities. PBPL office staff and auditing personnel are bound by a confidentiality agreement to safeguard client classified information.
Principles & Practices
- PBPL does not offer or undertake internal audits to its clients or other parties. Therefore, there is no conflict of interest in providing certification. PBPL does not outsource audits to management system consulting organizations to avoid threats to impartiality.
- PBPL does not market its activities as linked with the activities of organizations that provide management system consultancy.
- PBPL takes action to respond to any threats to its impartiality arising from the actions of other persons, bodies, or organizations.
- PBPL and its personnel do not provide internal audits to certified clients. PBPL will not certify any management system on which it provided internal audits within two years following the end of the internal audits.
